How to use RIO Heavy Flow Pads
Take the RIO pad out of its pink holding pouch. Peel the paper wrapper off its back.
Stretch the pad open. Stick the gluey side on your underwear. Press, firmly.
Peel the wrapper from the wings. Wrap it securely around your underwear. You’re ready!
Save the plastic wrapper. Use it to throw away the soiled pad.
RIO Pads have rapid absorption technology which makes it 3 times more effective than an ordinary sanitary napkin. A single RIO Pad can accommodate 375 ml of liquid.
In RIO Pads, Super Absorbent Polymer or SAP is used in the form of fine granules. It is solely responsible for the retention capacity of a pad. When the SAP comes in contact with water it transforms it into a gel like form, thus effectively locking the liquid in.
Our R & D has indicated that dips along the length of the pad can cause liquid to trickle down the inner thigh. Our raised flow guards, made of hydrophobic or water-repulsive sheets, forms a barricade against this locking in any possible leaks.
RIO Pads are available in packs of 6 and 12 pads.
Are you having to change your pad every two to three hours? Are you constantly afraid of staining and leakage due to pads overflowing? Does your flow feel extremely heavy with the presence of huge, coin-sized clots? You could be suffering from heavy flow and should switch over to a specialised pad.
Not for those who need them! Heavy flow pads are built to help women dealing with conditions such as PCOS, menopause or endometriosis that cause more than normal amounts of blood to be expelled by the body during a period. These women require thicker, longer pads with greater absorbency to stay leak- and stain-free.
If you’re suffering from PCOD or a customer, retailer or distributor, we’d love to hear from you.
