What is the difference between normal and heavy flow?

Normal flow is characterized by blood loss of 5-15 ml while changing your pad 3-4 times a day. Whereas, heavy flow is known to measure blood loss of up to 80 ml or more with visible blood clots while needing to change your pad 7-8 times a day.
